Barbed wire and butterflies. In this installation which is a globe out of barbed wire, the butterflies are uplifting it up, using their power to change everything... I play with connotations and meanings in order to emphasize the contraction between them. Butterflies have two sided colors: the black which symbolizes a strong yet subtle color because the black butterfly symbolizes the new strong but subtle till after a period of transformation and the turquise which belongs to type species Zizeeria Karsandra which flies in cyprus the whole year but mostly in Sping.Those tiny little creatures with those beautiful color wings can change the world, can uplift the globe, the barb wire globe,can rebirth,can move the barb wire division of my country and show people rebirth!
